Explore the Rewrite Your Career Story curriculum
The Rewrite Your Career Story curriculum is how Monique’s signature Rewrite Framework was developed. It is a tried and tested process for deep inside-out career change that securely connects your inside story with your outside one to create a career with more meaning, impact and fulfilment.
All Rewrite Your Career Story content (including exercises, workbooks, resources and videos) is accessed and delivered via a dedicated online portal. Participants work through the 4-Part multi-module curriculum, either entirely self-led, as part of a small coaching group or working 1:1 with Monique Shaw.
The 4-Part curriculum is outlined below…
Part 1: The Life Audit
We explore Your Current Story. We go deep into what led you to where you are right now in your life and career; we assess and analyse your values, the different areas of your life and the roles you play; and we’ll take a look at purpose and meet your inner critic.
Part 2: The Brand Review
We workshop Your Brand Story. You will identify, explore and audit all of your skills, understand and review your current personal brand, and then shape and define a new personal brand that is aligned to the career story you want to write.
Part 3: The Change
We establish Your Way Forward. To mitigate the barriers and challenges to your success, we will explore your inner critic in more detail, the importance of mindset, as well as rituals, new habits and accountability.
Part 4: The Rewrite
In the concluding part, you will write Your New Story. This is a highly action-focused part of the programme where you will do visioning and big-picture thinking, define what is inside and outside of your 'sacred circle' and create your Rewrite Action Plan.

I’m Monique Shaw, and I’ll be your guide throughout this programme.
I founded Rewrite in 2020 and have spent the last 6 years helping passionate but frustrated professionals close the gap between who they are and how work so they can build careers with meaning, fulfilment and impact.
Prior to that I spent over a decade working internationally in brand, marketing and strategic pursuits, shaping pitch strategies, running global campaigns, and coaching and leading teams.
I developed this programme because I know first-hand that external success is meaningless if the work doesn't feel right internally.
In this programme, I don’t offer vague career guidance - I provide a robust, structured and proven process that I know works – because I’ve done it myself and have successfully helped professionals just like you to rewrite their career stories too.
